I'm not sure when it was introduced, probably in 8f6fd2a131.
It was showing errors like "Couldn't load texture 'map.png'" and "Invalid texture data"

* removed classes managed by CInstanceManager
   except for CObject, CPyro, CBrain and CPhysics
   because of dependencies
 * refactored instance searching to use existing singleton instances of
   CApplication, CEngine and CRobotMain and calling their getter
   functions
